With tonight's win, Michigan improved to 7-0 in the all-time series against Oakland. It marks the teams' first meeting since 2003.
The Wolverines also improved to 80-49 in NCAA Tournament play. U-M boasts a 20-3 in first-round regional play.
The Wolverines boast 27 run-rule wins this season, including eight of their last 10 games.
Michigan was held without a home run for the first time in six games.
Junior Sierra Romero tallied a pair of runs batted in to up her career total to 219 and earn a share of the Michigan program in the category. She is tied with Samantha Findlay (2005-08). Romero is also just one shy homer shy of U-M's all-time record -- also held by Findlay (62).
Sophomore RHP Megan Betsa has allowed just five hits over her last six games, tossing a seven-inning no-hitter at Maryland and five straight one-hitters against Penn State, Northwestern and Oakland. She has also given up only 10 runs over her last 73 innings pitched.
Betsa boasts 12 double-digit strikeout games this season, including six of her last 10. She boasts a career-best 285 strikeouts this season -- 135 more than her 2014 total (150).
Senior LHP Haylie Wagner has allowed just four runs over her last 36 innings. She has not walked a batter in 34 innings.
