Weather Forecast Alters B1G Series Schedule at Northwestern

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Due to forecasted inclement weather for the weekend, the schedule for the University of Michigan's Big Ten Conference opening series at Northwestern has been changed.

The teams were originally scheduled for a three-day, three-game series but instead will play twice Friday (April 1) and once Sunday (April 3) at Northwestern's Miller Park.

With the most inclement weather forecasted for Saturday (April 2), the series will begin with a doubleheader on Friday. First pitch for the first game is set for noon CDT. Michigan and Northwestern will wrap up the series with a final game Sunday at 1 p.m. CDT as originally scheduled.
