SIENA HEIGHTS, Mich. -- The No. 25-ranked University of Michigan women's track and field team competed was represented in the pole vault at Siena Heights University's O'Laughlin Stadium during Saturday's (April 16) Don Kleinow Invitational. Senior/junior Claire Tewksbury, junior/sophomore Sarah Uhlian, sophomore/freshman Tori Chapin and freshman Emma Bauer competed for the Maize and Blue.
Uhlian won the event, clearing a personal-best 3.90 meters (12-9.5 ft.), and three athletes finished in the top 10 overall.
Bauer matched her season-best height from two weekends ago, clearing 3.50 meters (11-5.75 ft.) to place eighth, and Chapin tied for 10th overall.
U-M travels to Columbus, Ohio, next weekend for the two-day Jesse Owens Invitational (April 22-23).
