ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Due to forecasted weather, the No. 17-ranked University of Michigan baseball team will adjust its schedule for upcoming Big Ten opponent, Minnesota. The Wolverines have also added an additional game to their schedule for the upcoming week.
Michigan and Minnesota were originally scheduled for a three-day, three-game series this weekend but instead will play twice Friday (April 8) and once Sunday (April 10) at Michigan's Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium. First pitch for Friday's doubleheader is set for noon, while Sunday's game will remain at 1 p.m.
In addition, the Wolverines have added a game for this upcoming Tuesday (April 12) against Michigan State. The in-state rivalry game will take place at the Spartans' home field in East Lansing, and first pitch is slated for 4 p.m.
Michigan can add the game against Michigan State to its schedule after two contests at UC Davis were cancelled in early March. The Wolverines and Spartans have not yet faced each other this season, and the result will not count toward conference standings.
