She also cracked the top 10 in scoring in conference history, coming in at No. 9 with 2,337 points.

It is the longest winning streak for the Maize and Blue since winning 10 straight during head coach Kim Barnes Arico's first season (Dec. 1, 2012-Jan. 17, 2013). It is the third time under Barnes Arico that Michigan has won at least seven straight.
• For the third time in school history, Michigan has won 12 of its first 14 games for a 12-2 record. U-M last won 12 of its first 14 during the 2012-13 season, racing out to a 15-2 record. The Wolverines also started 12-2 during the 2011-12 season.
• U-M is looking for its first undefeated December since going 6-0 in the last month of the year during the 2012-13 season. Michigan also went undefeated in December during the 1998-99 season.
• The No. 23 Hawkeyes are off to a hot start, coming into the game with a 13-1 record and 1-0 mark in the Big Ten after a 56-46 win at Wisconsin on Thursday (Dec. 28).
