
Five Wolverines Named NACGC/W Scholastic All-Americans

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's gymnastics team had five individuals named Scholastic All-Americans by the National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women.
To qualify for the honor, individuals must have a grade point average of 3.50 or better over the last academic year.
Senior captain Nicole Artz was one of 100 individuals in college gymnastics who recorded a 4.0 GPA this past year. An elementary education major, Artz earned Scholastic All-American honors for the fourth consecutive year, becoming the 12th Wolverine to do so.
Fellow senior captain Talia Chiarelli also made the list. The sport management graduate claimed the honor for the third time in her career.
First-time honorees for the Wolverines included junior Paige Zaziski (general studies), sophomore Olivia Karas (communication) and freshman Maddy Osman (undeclared).
