
Wolverines Prepped for Three Weekends of Fall Ball Action

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's lacrosse head coach Hannah Nielsen announced the program's fall schedule today (Thursday, Sept. 14), which includes three weekends of competition away from Ann Arbor. The fall season will mark Nielsen's first unofficial games at the helm of the program, as she was announced as U-M's head coach in June 2017.
The Wolverines will kick off their fall season in South Bend, Indiana, with a fall play date at Notre Dame on Sunday, Oct. 1. Michigan will face off against the Irish at 1 p.m., followed by a matchup with Nielsen's alma mater, Northwestern, at 2:20 p.m.
Michigan will then head to the east coast for four games at Hofstra. The Maize and Blue will face the host school on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. and once again the following morning (Oct. 15) at 9:30 a.m. U-M will conclude action in Hempstead, New York, against Boston College at noon and UConn at 1:25 p.m.
Michigan will wrap up its fall season at Northwestern University, facing the Wildcats for the second time during the fall on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11 a.m.
