ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team will host the six-day ITA Midwest Regional Championships next week (Oct. 18-23) at the Varsity Tennis Center. The winners of each main draw (singles and doubles) will receive automatic berths to the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
The tournament will be held indoors, with consolation matches being held outside if weather allows.
Michigan is hosting the event for the fifth time in the past nine seasons after playing host in the fall of 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2017. U-M has won the last five singles titles at the event.
Admission to the event is free.
