Wolverines Tied for 11th after Day 1 of Fighting Irish Classic

» Michigan used team totals of 293 and 285 to position itself in a tie for 12th place after the first 36 holes of Notre Dame's Fighting Irish Classic being played at the Warren Golf Course.
» With his third-career sub-70 round of 68 (-3) in the second round, Brent Ito led the Wolverines on the opening day as he is tied for 44th with a 36-hole total of 143.
» Playing the front nine at two under par, Nick Carlson posted back-to-back 72s and is tied for 49th at 144.
» Michigan is scheduled to play with Northern Illinois and South Alabama for the final round. The trio will start off the 10th tee at 9 a.m.
