Katelynn Flaherty (March 26)
Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty earned honorable mention All-America honors by the Associated Press, as voted on by a 32-member panel. Flaherty concluded her illustrious career as the all-time leading scorer at Michigan with 2,776 points. She leaves Michigan as the career leader in points, field goals made (984), three-point field goals made (410), double-figure scoring games (127) and 30-point games (13), while holding the single-game record for three-pointers with 10. Flaherty's 410 three-pointers put her second all-time in NCAA Division I history and she is just the second player to ever hit at least 400. As a senior, she averaged 22.9 points per game on 44.3 percent shooting from the floor and 42.3 percent shooting from three-point range. Flaherty scored in double figures in all but one game, stringing together 25 20-point games and three 30-point games. She also averaged a career-high 4.2 assists per game.
Katelynn Flaherty (Feb. 26)
Nancy Lieberman Award Top Five -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty made the top five for the Nancy Lieberman Award, given to the nation's top point guard. Flaherty joins Ohio State's Kelsey Mitchell, Oregon's Sabrina Ionescu, Duke's Lexie Brown and Connecticut's Kia Nurse. Flaherty is averaging 23.5 points per game on 45.4 percent shooting from the floor and 41.5 percent from three-point range, while handing out 4.2 assists per game and grabbing 2.7 boards per contest. She has scored in double figures in all but one game this season, putting together 24 20-point games and three 30-point contests.
The winner of this award will be determined by a combination of fan votes and input from the Basketball Hall of Fame's selection committee. By visiting hoophallawards.com, fans will have the ability to vote for who they think should win. The voting opens on March 2 and will run until March 23. The winner of this award will be announced during ESPN2's telecast of the 2018 NCAA Women's Final Four in Columbus, Ohio, on March 30.
Katelynn Flaherty (Jan. 29)
Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after putting together another pair of 20-point games in two Michigan wins. In U-M's 74-48 win over Michigan State, Flaherty went for 26 points on 9-for-14 shooting and six assists. She followed that up with a 27-point, six-assist performance at Northwestern (Jan. 28). Flaherty shot nearly 70 percent (69.2) from three-point range on the week, hitting 9-of-14 shots from behind the arc. She also made the top 10 list for the Lieberman Award, given to the nation's top point guard.
Katelynn Flaherty (Jan. 22)
Big Ten Player of the Week -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty was named the Big Ten Player of the Week after helping Michigan to a pair of wins this past week. In Michigan's 84-75 win at No. 8 Ohio State (Jan. 16), Flaherty went for 21 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal in 40 minutes. She scored 18 of her 21 in the second half as Michigan rallied for the road win. She followed that up with 27 points, eight assists, four rebounds and a career-high four steals in Michigan's 86-42 win over Illinois (Jan. 20). She also became the seventh player in Big Ten history to reach 2,500 points, pushing her total to 2,505. This marks the second Big Ten Player of the Week honor in her career (Jan. 11, 2016).
Hailey Brown (Jan. 16)
USBWA National Freshman of the Week -- Freshman Hailey Brown was named the USBWA Freshman of the Week after scoring a career-high 23 points against Indiana (Jan. 10) and following up with a double-double against Nebraska (Jan. 13). Brown made 10-of-12 shots, including 3-for-3 from three-point range, against Indiana to record the first 20-point game of her career. She also grabbed eight rebounds and had an assist in 35 minutes of action. Brown came through with her second double-double of the season against the Huskers, going for 12 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes. Hailey Brown (Jan. 15)
Big Ten Freshman of the Week -- Forward Hailey Brown was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week after scoring a career-high 23 points against Indiana (Jan. 10) and following up with a double-double against Nebraska (Jan. 13). Brown made 10-of-12 shots, including 3-for-3 from three-point range, against Indiana to record the first 20-point game of her career. Flaherty tied Hailey Brown for game-high honors against Indiana (Jan. 10), scoring 23 points with six assists and a steal in 40 minutes. Flaherty went for 26 points on 9-for-17 shooting with two assists in 43 minutes at Nebraska. Midseason Top-25 List, John R. Wooden Award -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty made the midseason top-25 list for the John R. Wooden Award for the first time in her career after being named to the preseason watch list for the past two seasons. She is one of three Big Ten representatives on the list. Flaherty is averaging 22.9 points per game, good for seventh in the country, while recording 2.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. She has scored in double figures in all but one game this season and has recorded 15 20-point games. Hallie Thome (Jan. 8)
Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll - Junior Hallie Thome was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after a pair of 20-point games this past week. Thome opened the week with 20 points on 8-for-12 shooting to along with five boards and three blocks in just 25 minutes in a win at Wisconsin. She followed that up with 27 points on 12-for-20 shooting against No. 10 Ohio State, while also recording eight rebounds and two blocks in 44 minutes. » Big Ten Release

Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after hitting 14 three-pointers this past week, including setting a new school record with 10 against Penn State (Dec. 28). Flaherty recorded her second 30-point game of the season against the Lady Lions, hitting 10 three-pointers en route to 33 points, five assists and two rebounds. She followed that up with 24 points, including four three-pointers, at Iowa (Dec. 31). Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after a pair of 20-point games to help Michigan go 2-0 last week. Flaherty scored 27 points on 9-for-14 shooting from the floor, including a 4-for-5 mark from three-point range, to go with three rebounds, an assist and a steal against North Florida (Dec. 12). She followed that up with a 21-point performance on 7-for-15 shooting with three rebounds, two assists and two steals against Fort Wayne (Dec. 16). Hallie Thome (Nov. 27)
Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll -- Junior Hallie Thome was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after averaging 23.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game last week. Thome scored 29 points on 10-for-14 shooting from the floor, with a 9-for-12 showing from the free throw line against Oakland (Nov. 22). She followed that up with her second double-double of the season, putting in 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting and grabbing 13 boards in a 74-61 road win at Ohio. Katelynn Flaherty (Nov. 13)
Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll -- Senior Katelynn Flaherty was named to the Big Ten Player of the Week Honor Roll after averaging 24.5 points and 5.0 assists per game in Michigan's 2-0 weekend. She put up 29 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the floor against George Mason (Nov. 10) while grabbing six rebounds with five assists. Flaherty reached the 20-point plateau for the 51st time in her career in U-M's 74-50 win over Liberty (Nov. 12), going for 20 points and five assists. » Big Ten Release
Hallie Thome (Nov. 10)
Lisa Leslie Award Watch List -- Junior Hallie Thome was named to the inaugural Lisa Leslie Award watch list. Named after the three-time All-American and 1994 National Player of the Year, the award recognizes the top centers in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. Thome is coming off a sophomore season in which she averaged 16.2 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game. She became the third sophomore in school history to reach the 1,000-point mark and ranks 22nd all-time with 1,105 points.
Katelynn Flaherty (Nov. 6)
Nancy Lieberman Award Watch List -- For the second straight season, senior Katelynn Flaherty has been named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list. Now in its 19th year, the award recognizes the top point guard in women's NCAA Division I college basketball. Flaherty enters her senior season on the cusp of becoming the program's leading scorer after averaging 20.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game last season.
