» Jake Herremans finished one spot shy of auto qualification on one-meter, taking 11th (643.85). He would be eligible to dive on one-meter at the NCAA Championships should he qualify on platform tomorrow (Saturday, March 10).

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Three members of the No. 7-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team were in action on the one-meter springboard on day two of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships, held Friday (March 9) at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Sophomore Jake Herremans was one of two Michigan divers in the final, taking 11th (643.85). Though he ultimately ended up one spot shy of automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championships, Herremans jumped four spots from prelims, where he was 15th. By virtue of a top-12 finish, he could still dive on one-meter at the NCAA Championships should he qualify on platform tomorrow (Saturday, March 10).
Freshman Ross Todd was the other finalist, taking 14th (616.15). Freshman Chris Canning was 31st (254.05).
The NCAA Zone C Diving Championships conclude tomorrow with platform. Preliminaries begin at 11 a.m.
