Michigan Announces Ice Hockey Game Times, TV Schedule

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan ice hockey team announced Wednesday (Sept. 26) its game times and television schedule for the 2018-19 campaign.
The Wolverines will appear a total of 12 times on televised networks -- seven to be aired on Big Ten Network, with the other five being on Fox Sports. Two of the Fox Sports games will appear on either Fox Sports Plus or FS1.
U-M will play 18 contests at Yost Ice Arena, with season-ticket prices remaining unchanged for a fifth year ($340 end zone, $395 middle end zone). Season ticket holder benefits include up to a $100 savings compared to single-game ticket prices, priority points, concessions discounts and priority access to postseason tickets.
New season tickets are now available for purchase online or by contacting the U-M Athletic Ticket Office at (734) 764-0247 or (866) 296-MTIX. Also available for purchase are eight-game mini-plans, group and all-inclusive hospitality spaces and individual game tickets.
The Wolverines will play three contests at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit, including the 54th Great Lakes Invitational. The Wolverines open the Great Lakes Invitational against Michigan Tech, with Michigan State and Lake Superior State meeting in the other semifinal. Michigan also will meet Michigan State in a regular-season Big Ten contest at the home of "Hockeytown" on Feb. 9 for the annual Duel in the D, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. Two of the games played at Little Caesars Arena will be televised on FS Detroit, the second game of the Great Lakes Invitational on Dec. 31 and the Duel in the D contest.
Highlights of the schedule include the Wolverines' weekend home opener at Yost beginning on Saturday, Oct. 6 against Vermont (7 p.m.). This is followed by Michigan's first exhibition game the following night, Sunday, Oct. 7, against Waterloo (4Â p.m.).
