• There have been 43 games in the series decided by three points or fewer, with U-M trailing, 16-27 in those contests. The last time a game was decided by fewer than three points was when U-M knocked off No. 1 seed IU in the 2016 Big Ten Tournament. With the game tied at 69, U-M's Kam Chatman made a last-second three-pointer from a Derrick Walton Jr. pass to earn the upset win.
• There have been eight overtime games with each team winning four. The last time there was an extra period between the teams was a 72-66 OT win by U-M at Indiana (Jan. 7, 2009), when the Wolverines overcame a 20-point deficit to pull off the comeback win.
