A Little Bit About Ohio State
• Ohio State comes to Ann Arbor with a 13-6 overall record and a 3-5 mark in Big Ten play.
• With a 70-60 road win at Nebraska on Saturday, the Buckeyes snapped a five-game drought to pick up their third Big Ten win.
• OSU is led by sophomore big man Kaleb Wesson, who averages a team-best 14.9 points as well as a team-best 6.8 rebounds per game. He is shooting 51.1 percent from the field and has made 121 trips to the free throw line (.727 shooting) -- more than double the next closest Buckeye.
• Senior guard C.J. Jackson is second on the Buckeyes with 12.6 points per game, and he leads OSU with 37 three-pointers, shooting 38.9 percent from deep. He adds a team-best 3.7 assists per game.
• Freshman guard Luther Muhammed, coming off a career-best 24 points at Nebraska, is averaging 9.9 points, while junior guard Andrew Wesson -- older brother of Kaleb -- scores 8.5 points per game.
• The Buckeyes will be without the services of sophomore forward Kyle Young due to a stress fracture in his lower right leg. Young leads the Big Ten in field goal percentage, shooting 73.2 percent from the field.
• Chris Holtmann is in his second season as head coach at Ohio State. In his first year, Holtmann led the Buckeyes to a 25-9 overall record and was named Big Ten Coach of the Year. Holtmann was the previously the head coach at Butler for three seasons (2014-17) prior to moving to Columbus.
The All-Time Series with the Buckeyes
• Tuesday's game will be the 182nd all-time meeting between Michigan and Ohio State.
• The Wolverines trail 78-103 in the all-time series. U-M won last season's lone match-up, 74-62, at Crisler Center (Feb. 18, 2018). However, the Wolverines are 2-4 in the last six against the Buckeyes.
• U-M holds a 48-38 record against OSU in Ann Arbor and has won four of the last five home meetings.
• There have been 33 games in the series decided by three or fewer points, with U-M going 14-19 in those games. The last time a game was decided by three points or fewer was U-M's 72-69 semifinal win in the 2014 Big Ten Tournament (March 15, 2014). After the Wolverines won the Big Ten regular season by three games, U-M's victory over the Buckeyes helped the Maize and Blue advance to the league's championship game for the second time in program history (1998).
• There have been eight overtime games with U-M holding the lead 6-2. The last time there was an extra period was on Feb. 5, 2013 when the third-ranked Wolverines held on to defeat the No. 10 Buckeyes in a Crisler Center thriller, 76-74. Following a Trey Burke three-pointer with 4:23 to go, U-M did not score again until Glenn Robinson III made one of two free throws with seven seconds left. With U-M up by two, Tim Hardaway Jr. blocked an Aaron Craft coast-to-coast drive to give the Wolverines the victory.
• U-M head coach John Beilein holds an 8-15 record against Ohio State.
With One More ...
• With a victory tonight, Michigan's John Beilein would tie former U-M coach Johnny Orr's mark for the most Big Ten wins by a Michigan coach (120). Beilein is already U-M's all-time wins leader with 267.
• With his expected start against Ohio State, junior guard Zavier Simpson will become the 70th Wolverine to play in 100 career games at Michigan. What is amazing is Simpson has yet to miss a single game, playing in what could be 100 straight games.
• Additionally, Simpson needs one assist to become the 15th Wolverine to reach 300 in a career. The last Wolverine to surpass 300 assists was Derrick Walton Jr., who finished his career with 499 (fourth all-time). Simpson took over the U-M reins from Walton following his graduation in 2017.

• The Wolverines average 6.5 steals per game and have swiped five or more in 14 games. In fact, U-M has four games with 10-plus in a game, including a season-high 11 at Villanova (Nov. 14).
