Michigan won the doubles point behind wins at No. 2 and No. 1. The No. 2 match featured four breaks of serve to start, with freshman Anca Craciun holding to take a 3-2 lead in the fifth game. At No. 1, the teams exchanged three straight breaks before senior Brienne Minor held at 3-1. Nebraska answered with two straight games to tie it at 3, but Michigan came right back with a break of serve to regain the lead. Moments later, Pairone clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 3. Pairone won the first set on a deuce point before breaking early for a 2-1 lead in the second. That was all the space she needed in the second, rolling to the 6-1 win.
With the team match in hand, Craciun was the next Wolverine off court behind a 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 5. Craciun broke at 4-3 in the first en route to the win and then dominated in the second set for her second consecutive win.

Fahey completed the sweep for the Maize and Blue with a 7-6 (1), 6-1 win at the top spot. Fahey fought off two set points in the first set, eventually sending the set to a tiebreaker. It was all Fahey in the breaker as she reeled off the final five points to seal the win. She carried the momentum over into the second set, winning the final five games for the 6-1 win.
