
Wolverines to Kick Off Spring Slate with Hockeypalooza at Ocker Field

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan field hockey team, the two-time reigning Big Ten Conference regular-season champion, will close out the second semester with back-to-back competitive weekends, including its annual home tournament, slated for this Saturday and Sunday, April 6-7, at Phyllis Ocker Field.
The Wolverines will welcome six regional foes for their "Hockeypalooza" tournament, including Big Ten foes Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern and Ohio State. Kent State and Louisville round out the tournament field. Michigan will face Indiana at 11:30 a.m. and Ohio State at 2:05 p.m. on Saturday (April 6) before taking on Louisville at 8:30 a.m. and Northwestern at 1:35 p.m. on Sunday (April 7).
Michigan will travel to Louisville, Kentucky, the following weekend (Sat-Sun., April 13-14), returning to the site of the NCAA Championship final four, for a four-game slate at Trager Stadium. U-M will play Northwestern at 10:15 a.m. and Iowa at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 before wrapping up with a 9:15 a.m. game against Michigan State and a 1:10 p.m. game against Indiana on Sunday, April 14.
All games will be 11-on-11 contests and run 50 minutes apiece. Admission to both events is free.
