First Varsity Four (April 23)
Big Ten Boat of the Week -- The No. 5-ranked University of Michigan rowing program earned its third weekly honor of the season from the Big Ten Conference, as the league announced Michigan's 1V4 as the Big Ten Boat of the Week. It marks Michigan's third Big Ten award this spring and the second honor for the first varsity four boat. The Wolverines earned this week's recognition by beating some of the nation's stiffest competition. Out on Lake Las Vegas, U-M timed 7:05.68 to best No. 1 Washington (+1.95) and No. 6 Ohio State (+12.13) in Michigan's lone win out of three races. The 1V4 improved to 1-1 against Ohio State so far this spring.

First Varsity Four (April 9)
Big Ten Boat of the Week -- The No. 6-ranked University of Michigan rowing program earned its second straight Big Ten accolade to start the 2019 season, as the league named U-M's first varsity four (1V4) boat the Big Ten Boat of the Week. This is Michigan's fourth Big Ten honor since the start of the 2018 season and the first for the varsity four since 2016. The Wolverines earned wins over No. 10 Virginia, Duke, and No. 17 Syracuse last weekend, including a +10.6-second win over the Cavaliers. U-M came in +7.7 seconds ahead of Duke and +25.0 seconds ahead of the Orange in the second race, providing three of the largest margins of victory by any Michigan boat. » Big Ten Release

First Varsity Eight (April 2)
Big Ten Boat of the Week -- The No. 9-ranked University of Michigan rowing program earned its first conference award of the 2019 season after its first weekend of action, as the first varsity eight (1V8) crew earned Big Ten Boat of the Week honors. This week's conference accolade marks the first of the early season for U-M and its third of the last two seasons. To earn the honor, Michigan's top boat picked up wins on No. 19 Harvard-Radcliffe and No. 5 Yale during last weekend's Big Ten-Ivy League Double Dual (March 29-30) on Belleville Lake. U-M rowed 6:30.3 against Harvard-Radcliffe (+3.1) on Friday before returning on Saturday morning to best Yale in an even closer race with a time of 6:35.32 (+0.77). The Wolverines proved themselves to be the fastest boat on the water last weekend, sweeping both Ivy League programs after they had bested fellow Big Ten foes Michigan State and No. 17 Indiana. » Big Ten Release
