
Bock Earns Spot on U.S. Pan Am Championships Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Rising junior Cameron Bock of the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team recently earned a spot on the United States Pan American Championships team on Monday (June 3) for the U.S. squad that will compete July 27-31 in Lima, Peru.
The team was selected based off performances at a meet during May training camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Bock placed fifth in the all-around competition with a score of 80.350, won on parallel bars with a 14.300 and finished second on vault with a 14.500. Former Wolverine Adrian de los Angeles (2014-17) placed sixth at the meet with a 79.550 and will serve as a non-traveling alternate.
Bock competed in the Pan Am Championships last year and led the U.S. to a gold medal after capturing four individual medals. He earned a bronze medal in the all-around with a mark of 81.999, silver on pommel horse (13.567) and secured bronze medals on floor exercise with a 14.033 and on parallel bars with a score of 14.233.
