The University of Michigan women's soccer team returns to U-M Soccer Stadium after 19 days away to host Purdue on Friday night (Sept. 27) at 7 p.m., and Indiana on Sunday (Sept. 29) at 1 p.m. The Wolverines enter the match with a 7-2-0 overall record and a 2-0-0 Big Ten record.
Michigan Receiving Votes in United Soccer Coaches Poll
• After they knocked off two ranked opponents and went 3-0 on their recent road trip, the Wolverines are receiving votes in the lastest United Soccer Coaches Poll (Sept. 24) and came in at No. 22 in the TopDrawerSoccer.com poll (Sept. 23).
• This season, Michigan is 7-2 overall and has won four straight games for the first time since September 2016, when the Wolverines won five straight matches.
• The Wolverines are 2-0 in the Big Ten for the first time since the 2016 campaign, having defeated No. 23 Penn State for the first time since 2013, and earned its second straight victory over Ohio State.
Series History with Purdue
• Michigan holds an 11-4-4 advantage in the all-time series against Prudue.
• Michigan is 7-1-2 against Purdue in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines fell, 1-0, in its last meeting with the Boilermakers at U-M Soccer Stadium (Sept. 14, 2017).
• Fourteen of the 19 matches against Purdue have been decided by one goal or fewer.
• Last season, the Wolverines defeated the Boilermakers, 1-0, in West Lafayette, Indiana, on Raleigh Loughman's first career goal.
• Michigan has won two of the last three matchups against Purdue dating back to 2015.
• U-M holds a plus-13 goal differential (25-12) over the 19 meetings between the teams.

• Purdue is 6-2-1 overall and is 2-0-0 in the Big Ten standings, having most recently defeated No. 19 Iowa, 1-0, in the conference-opening weekend.
• The Boilermakers have outscored opponents, 13-5, and have allowed 31 shots on goal in their first nine games.
• Leanna Rebimbas leads the offense with eight points (three goals, two assists), while Hannah Melhiorre has seven points (three goals, assist) and Sarah Griffith has six points (two goals, two assists).
• In net, Marisa Bova has started all nine games and has five shutouts for Purdue.
All-Time Series with Indiana
• The Wolverines hold a 17-5-3 record in the all-time series with Indiana.
• Michigan won nine of the first 11 head-to-head matchups with the Hoosiers.
• Indiana earned a double-overtime 3-2 victory in last season's meeting between the two squads.
• Before the 2018 season, the Wolverines held a seven-game win streak over the Hoosiers dating back to 2010.
• Michigan has not lost to Indiana at home since 2006, when it fell, 2-1.

Glancing at the Hoosiers
• Indiana (4-5-0, 0-2-0 Big Ten) seeks its first conference win, and fifth overall, this weekend.
• The Hoosiers' scoring has been fairly even this season, as opponents have narrowly outscored them, 11-10, but IU has put 44 shots on goal compared to its opponents' 32.
• Avery Lockwood and Chandra Davidson lead the Indiana offense with seven points each, while four players have tallied three points.
• In goal, Bathany Kopel has started every match with a .656 save percentage and a 1.22 goals-against average. Kopel has made 21 saves this season for the Hoosiers.
Michigan Downs Consecutive Ranked Opponents
• Michigan headed out on a tough road trip that featured No. 13 Washington State and No. 23 Penn State in back-to-back matches and Ohio State.
• The Wolverines returned to Ann Arbor with a 2-1 victory over the No. 13 Cougars and a 1-0 shutout win over No. 23 Penn State.
• The back-to-back wins over ranked opponents marked the first time Michigan has had two straight upsets since the 2013 season when it downed No. 21 San Diego State and No. 22 Pepperdine on Sept. 1 and Sept. 6, 2013.
• The Wolverines defeated Penn State for the first time since 2013 with a 1-0 victory in Happy Valley.
Stratigakis Finding A Way
• Junior Sarah Stratigakis leads the Michigan offense with 12 points on the season.
• Her four goals are tied for second on the team and tied for seventh in the Big Ten, while her four assists lead the Wolverines and are tied for fourth in the league.
• Stratigakis has produced three three-point matches this season, while she has added at least one point in five of Michigan's nine matches.
• The junior midfielder has had at least one point in the last three matches.
• Stratigakis needs just five points to tie her 2018 total and has already surpassed her 2017 total of 11 points.
