Tommy Cope (Jan. 15)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Tommy Cope (Dayton, Ohio) won all three of his individual swims to spark the Wolverines in a 160-140 win over No. 5 Indiana last Saturday (Jan. 11) at Canham Natatorium. He touched first in the 100-yard breaststroke (53.28), 200-yard breaststroke (1:56.34) and 200-yard IM (1:45.61), earning NCAA 'B' cuts in all three swims. Ross Todd (Dec. 11)
Big Ten Diver of the Week -- Ross Todd (Adelaide, Australia) picked up his second Big Ten Diver of the Week honor of the season after winning all three events at the Minnesota Invite last week (Dec. 4-7). He scored 436.40 on platform, 383.85 on three-meter and 317.30 on one-meter, meeting the NCAA Zone Diving qualifying standard each time. » Big Ten Release
Miles Smachlo (Nov. 6)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Miles Smachlo (Rexford, N.Y.) was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season. He won the 100-yard butterfly (46.96) and 200-yard butterfly (1:44.52) against Indiana and Iowa last Saturday (Nov. 2), while also contributing a leg on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:26.93). Smachlo now ranks first in the NCAA in the 200-yard butterfly, and is third in the 100-yard butterfly. » Big Ten Release
Miles Smachlo, Ross Todd, River Wright (Sept. 25)
Big Ten Swimmer of the Week -- Miles Smachlo (Rexford, N.Y.) took the 100-yard butterfly (47.59) and 200-yard butterfly (1:46.59), and also contributed legs on the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:28.07) and 400-yard freestyle relay (2:58.60) in Michigan's first meet of the season against Miami (Ohio) and Navy on Sept. 20. » Big Ten Release
