Top Notes for Tuesday's Game
• Tuesday's game will be the first of two regular-season meetings between U-M and Ohio State. The Wolverines will make a return trip to Columbus and Value City Arena on March 1.
• Tuesday's game will feature a special stripe out for alternating sections at Crisler Center.
• After a four-game losing streak, U-M picked up two straight victories -- at Nebraska (79-68) and vs. No. 25 Rutgers (69-63) in the B1G Super Saturday game at Madison Square Garden.
• With the strength of the Big Ten and U-M's challenging non-conference slate, Michigan's regular-season schedule has skyrocketed to one of the best in the nation -- 2nd (Sagarin), 3rd (KenPom) and 3rd (ESPN's BPI).
• Franz Wagner was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after averaging 14.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals in 31.5 minutes on the hardwood. He shot 52.4 percent from the field and made several key drives that were instrumental in snapping a four-game losing streak.
• Jon Teske continues to lead U-M in scoring (13.6), rebounding (7.6), blocks (2.0) and steals (1.2).
• Zavier Simpson returned to action following a single-game suspension for violating team policies. In the B1G Super Saturday win vs. Rutgers, Simpson finished with nine points, 10 assists and three steals in 38 minutes.
• Simpson ranks second in the nation for total assists (167) and per game average (8.4). He needs just two more assists (598) to become the second Wolverine with 600 in a career. Simpson trails only U-M record holder Gary Grant (731).
• What a week it was for Brandon Johns Jr. He averaged 18.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting 63.2 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from long range. After posting a career-best 16 points while grabbing seven rebounds in the win at Nebraska, he followed with a new career-best 20 points, with a career-high four three-pointers, in the B1G Super Saturday win over No. 25 Rutgers.
• Wagner has scored in double figures in seven of his last eight games to improve his scoring average to 10.6 points per game. Adding seven games of 5+ rebounds during the same stretch, he has moved to the second spot on U-M with 4.7 boards per game.
• After missing six games with a groin injury, Isaiah Livers returned to the lineup and started against Illinois (Jan. 25). Unfortunately for Livers, he left the game after 20 minutes when he aggravated the hip and leg area around his previous injury. He is listed as day-to-day while he continues to be evaluated by U-M's medical staff. Without Livers, U-M has gone 4-4.
Who are the Ohio State Buckeyes?

Five players are shooting better than 40 percent individually from three, led by senior forward Andre Wesson at 45.7 percent (32-of-70).
