
Wolverines Claim Four WCGA Regular-Season All-America Honors

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Three University of Michigan women's gymnasts combined for four Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) regular-season All-America honors on Tuesday (March 24).
Freshman Sierra Brooks earned second-team recognition on both vault and the all-around for her first two career All-America citations. Brooks ended the season tied for 15th nationally on vault with a 9.895 National Qualifying Score (NQS) and was ranked No. 11 in the all-around with an NQS score of 39.500.
Sophomore Natalie Wojcik also earned second-team honors in the all-around to give her four career regular-season All-America accolades. She was ranked No. 14 in the all-around with an NQS of 39.435.
Sophomore Abby Brenner claimed her first career All-America honor, receiving second-team honors on vault. She was tied at No. 9 in the rankings with an NQS of 9.910.
It is the third time Michigan has had three individuals earn regular-season All-America honors in the same season. U-M also had three gymnasts recognized in 2015 (Nicole Artz, Brianna Brown and Sachi Sugiyama) and 2017 (Artz, Emma McLean and Paige Zaziski).
