
Preseason Honors: McCaffrey Named to Unitas Golden Arm Award Watch List

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan quarterback Dylan McCaffrey was named Tuesday (Aug. 11) to the preseason watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, presented annually to the top senior and upperclassman QB set to graduate with their class.

• 13 career games played at quarterback
• 242 career passing yards with three touchdowns; 166 career rush yards with two touchdowns
• 2017 Scout Team Player of the Year on Offense
Camaron Cheeseman, Graduate Student, LS
Aug. 3: Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List (best FBS long snapper)
• Played all 13 games for each of the last three seasons
• Handled short and long snaps throughout his career
• Special Teams Player of the Week in Week 1 of 2019 season
• Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Two-time All-Academic
Nico Collins, Sr., WR

• July 24: Maxwell Award Watch List (player of the year)
• July 16: Biletnikoff Award Watch List (outstanding college receiver)
• Two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2018-19
• 29 career games played with 22 starts, including 10 in 2019
• Caught 37 passes for 729 yards and a team-high seven touchdowns in 2019
• Led the Big Ten with 19.7 yards per catch in 2019

• All-Big Ten honorable mention in 2019 as a return specialist
• 13 career games played with nine at wide receiver and running back, and one start
• Team's Rookie of the Year on Special Teams; scored a 97-yard kick return touchdown at Maryland
• One of two players in Michigan history with touchdowns scored via kick return, receiving, and rushing during freshman season
• Averaged 15.8 yards per catch, 6.9 yards per carry, 25.9 yards per kick return as a freshman to total 833 all-purpose yards

• Helped protect Shea Patterson while he threw for 3,061 yards - the second-highest single-season total in program history
• Stepped into starting right tackle role in 2019 after playing three games on the left side as a freshman

• Co-recipient, 2019 Richard Katcher Award
• Made 50 tackles with 12.5 for loss, 6.5 sacks, three hurries, one fumble recovery in 2019
Adam Shibley, Sr., LB

• July 23: Wuerffel Trophy Watch List (top community servant)
• Appeared in 12 career games at linebacker and on special teams, including 10 games in 2019
• Co-recipient of the team's 2018 Scout Team Defensive Player of the Year
• Two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree
• Started TUFF (The Uniform Funding Foundation) with several of his teammates, working to decrease participation costs for youth sports athletes and teams which come from low-income areas
• Member of the Big Ten's Anti-Hate and Anti-Racism Coalition
