
Wolverines Sign Two on National Signing Day

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- University of Michigan women's gymnastics coach and reigning WCGA Coach of the Year Bev Plocki announced on Wednesday (Nov. 10) the signing of two student-athletes, Farah Lipetz (Northport, N.Y.) and Kaylen Morgan (Huntsville, N.C.), to National Letters of Intent.
"We are so thrilled to be announcing the signing of these amazingly talented young women," said Plocki. "They bring a balance of power and grace as well as a high level of competitive experience. I anticipate that these young women will have incredible careers and bring many accolades to Michigan over the course of their careers. We cannot wait for them to join our Michigan family."
Farah Lipetz | Northport, N.Y. | Club: Infiniti Elite Gymnastics
• Competes for Infiniti Elite Gymnastics
• Prepped at Northport High School
• Was the New York State Beam Champion in 2019
• Is a five-time Junior Olympic National Championship competitor
• Was the World Maccabi All-Around Champion in 2017
• Competed in the Elite Hopes American Classic
• Is a three-time all-around regional champion
• Has been a Region 6 competitor six times
• Is a member of National Honor Society and Academic Honor Roll
Kaylen Morgan | Huntsville, N.C. | Club: Everest Gymnastics
• Competes for Everest Gymnastics
• Prepped at Pearson Online Academy
• Was a USA Gymnastics National Team Member
• Competed at the American Classics, where she placed third on floor exercise, fifth on the vault and sixth in the all-around in 2021
• Also competed at the U.S. GK Classics and the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in the summer of 2021
• Was a USAG Senior Elite Qualifier in the winter of 2020
• Placed seventh on floor in the junior division at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships in 2019
• Earned a sixth-place finish on the balance beam in the junior division at the U.S. GK Classics in 2019
• Was a USAG Junior Elite Qualifier in 2019 and a Nastia Liukin Cup Qualifier in 2018
• Helped her team to a first-place finish at the 2019 Gymnix International in Montreal, Canada, while placing fifth on floor and seventh in the all-around
