CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team closed out its weekend of competition at the B1G Fighting Illini Relays on Saturday (April 24) at Demirjian Park, the site of next month's Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
In the Wolverines' lone action of Saturday's session, Katt Miner cleared 1.70m (5 feet, 7 inches) to finish tied for third overall in a tiebreaker. Each of the top-four finishers cleared the same bar, but Miner needed two attempts opposed to the one needed by two other competitors.
Michigan will now turn its attention toward its final big push of the regular season next weekend as it splits its squad between Indiana and Ohio State on Friday and Saturday (April 30-May 1).
