ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Graduate student Cameron Bock and rising senior Paul Juda of the University of Michigan men's gymnastics team and U-M alum Sam Mikulak will participate in the United States Olympic Team Trials from Thursday through Saturday (June 24-26) at The Dome of America's Center.
The competition commences on Thursday (June 24) at 6:30Â p.m. on NBC Sports Network, while Saturday's (June 26) events begin at 3 p.m. on the Olympic Channel before moving to NBC at 4 p.m.
Bock and Juda will begin the meet on parallel bars, while Mikulak begins on vault. All three qualified for the trials by being current members of the United States national team.
The USA Gymnastics selection committee will choose the four members of the USA Gymnastics team and one individual performer following day two of the competition. Mikulak is looking to qualify for his third Olympics, while Bock and Juda are seeking their first invitations.
Juda enters the trials after a runner-up finish in the all-around (83.000) at the Senior Pan American Championships on June 4 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Teammate Bock also competed in the all-around, placing sixth (81.200)
Mikulak is coming off a third-place finish in the all-around at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships, which included an event win on high bar (29.600).
The trio seeks to join former teammate Uche Eke, who became the first Nigerian gymnast ever to qualify for the Olympic Games, in Tokyo.
