Through two weeks of the 2021 season, 11 different Wolverines have made their first career starts: linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green, tight end Joel Honigford, offensive lineman Trevor Keegan, safety R.J. Moten, linebacker David Ojabo and defensive lineman Mazi Smith against Western Michigan (Sept. 4); defensive lineman Kris Jenkins, defensive end Mike Morris, tight end Luke Schoonmaker and wide receiver Roman Wilson against Washington (Sept. 11).
• The Wolverines are 17-6 in nonconference games under head coach Jim Harbaugh with the final nonconference regular-season matchup of 2021 slated for this weekend.
• Michigan's roster includes six players from the state of Illinois: Josh Beetham (Yorkville), A.J. Henning (Frankfort), Danny Hughes (Naperville), Trevor Keegan (Crystal Lake), J.J. McCarthy (La Grange Park) and Tyler McLaurin (Bollingbrook).
• U-M is 28-1 under head coach Jim Harbaugh when at least one player records 100 yards rushing.
• Blake Corum achieved the 100-yard rushing mark in the first half against Washington last weekend (Sept. 11), with 107 yards on 11 carries, and finished with 171 yards on 21 carries for the game, adding three touchdowns - all career-highs. His 67-yard touchdown was also a career-long run.

• Hassan Haskins rushed 27 times for a career-high 155 yards against Washington (Sept. 11). He has 100-plus yards in three of his last four games dating to last season.
• Together, Haskins and Corum are the first duo to both run for 150-plus yards in a game since Karan Higdon and Chris Evans vs. Minnesota (Nov. 4, 2017). It was only the third time in program history that mark had been met by two backs.
• According to Pro Football Focus College, the Wolverine backs have forced 27 missed tackles so far this season, tied with Alabama for the highest two-week total among power five teams.
• Josh Ross posted his fourth career double-digit tackle effort with 11 stops against Washington (Sept. 11).
• Defensively, the Wolverines have generated 9.0 tackles for loss as a team. Aidan Hutchinson (3.0) leads the defense, which features eight different players with at least a share of a TFL.
• The Wolverines have had five and seven different players break up at least one pass in the first two games, respectively. The team's 14 pass breakups are the team's most through two weeks since 2009.
• With 2.5 sacks against Washington (Sept. 11), Aidan Hutchinson is up to 3.5 sacks on the season and 8.0 for his career. Hutchinson was named the Reese's Senior Bowl Defensive Player of the Week and the Lott IMPACT Trophy Player of the Week (Sept. 13).
• Jake Moody converted a career-long 52-yard field goal against Washington last week (Sept. 11). Only four longer field goals have been hit in Michigan history (57, 57, 56, 55; three others at 52).
• Brad Robbins hit two 50-plus yard punts (50 yards, 59 yards) against the Huskies (Sept. 11), with the latter being his season-long. Robbins' career average of 41.9 yards ranks tied-fifth all-time at Michigan.
