ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's soccer team (2-1-1) will close out its four-match homestand with a pair of matches at U-M Soccer Stadium. The Wolverines will host undefeated No. 12-ranked New Hampshire (4-0) on Friday (Sept. 10) at 7 p.m., then will welcome Chicago State (2-1-1) on Monday (Sept. 13). Both matches will be streamed live on Big Ten Network+.
Wolverine Bites
• Michigan's second-half surge against Loyola Chicago on Monday (Sept. 6), with goals from Marc Ybarra and Inaki Rodriguez, propelled the Wolverines to a 2-1 victory at U-M Soccer Stadium -- their first of the season at home.
• The U-M defense continues to impress, as it is keeping opponents to just 7.0 shots per game, and has allowed only 14 shots to reach the goal.
• Freshman Hayden Evans has earned wins in each of his two starts and has made four saves in his 200 minutes on the pitch.
• Marc Ybarra leads the Michigan offense this season with two goals, while Inaki Rodriguez has three points with a goal and an assist.
• While he has yet to score a goal early this season, junior Uriel Zeitz has been a big threat to the opposition, working his way past defenders with his footwork and taking seven shots to rank fourth on the team.
• Sophomore Bryce Blevins also has been an offensive leader, taking a team-high nine shots with six on frame.

New Hampshire
First meeting between the programs
Michigan and New Hampshire will meet Friday for the first time in the history of the two programs. The Wildcats come into the match with a 4-0 record and have given up just one goal. New Hampshire is averaging 13.3 shots per game, while opponents have managed just 6.3 shots per game with seven on frame. Tola Showunmi has two goals this season, while New Hampshire's four other goals have been spread out amongst four players with one each. In goal, Jassem Koleilat has earned the start in all four matches and has made six saves.
Chicago State
First meeting between the programs
Michigan will play Chicago State on Monday for the first time in the history of the programs. The Cougars hold a 2-1-1 overall record and will play Xavier on Friday before making their way to Ann Arbor. Chicago State has scored four goals and given up three, while they are averaging a mere 4.8 shots per game. Offensively, Enrique Zamora has a team-high five shots and has scored two goals, while Cal-wayne Allen has added one goal and one assist. Joe Bowles has started all four games between the pipes, making 13 saves and posting two shutouts.
