ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 20-ranked University of Michigan men's tennis team hosts Notre Dame on Thursday (Feb. 24) at the Varsity Tennis Center at 6 p.m. Admission to the match is free.
Wolverine Bites
• Michigan is 4-2 with its last match resulting in a 4-1 win over Illinois (Feb. 11) at the Varsity Tennis Center.
• The Wolverines are ranked at No. 20 in the latest ITA poll (new rankings released Feb. 23 including updated singles and doubles rankings).
• The Wolverines have won the doubles point in three of their six matches.
• No. 11-ranked Andrew Fenty/Nino Ehrenschneider have won their last three matches at No. 1 doubles and are 11-2 this year.
• Andrew Fenty is 2-3 at No. 1 singles this season.
• Jacob Bickersteth, Ondrej Styler and Patrick Maloney have all played at No. 2 and No. 3, going a combined 7-3.
• Michigan has lost just once at No. 4, 5 and 6 singles.
• Gavin Young has the best win percentage on the team at 78.9 percent with a 15-4 mark.
• Maloney and Bickersteth have also reached double-digit single wins with Maloney 11-6 and Bickersteth 10-7.
