SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A select few members of the University of Michigan men's track and field team gained valuable big-meet racing experience Saturday (Feb. 5) at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational.
Running in the unseeded section of the 3,000 meters, Michael Hancock ran 8:24.84 to finish seventh overall in the competition.
In the unseeded mile, Anthony DeKraker ran a season's best 4:12.24 for 18th place, and Joe Meyers clocked 4:22.89 for 38th.
Michigan returns to full strength on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 11-12) for the final big regular-season road trip of the winter at the Wisconsin Windy City Invitational at the new Track and Field Center at Gately Park in Chicago, Ill.
