Big Ten Presesaon Players to Watch -- Tito Flores returns for another season with Michigan after helping lead the Wolverines to a Big Ten Tournament championship last season. Named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team at designated hitter, Flores looks to assist U-M both offensively and defensively this season.
Connor O'Halloran, one of Michigan's top pitchers a year ago, was ranked second in the Big Ten in strikeouts with a total of 104 which also tied for eighth most in a season by a Wolverine. He started 18 games on the mound for the Maize and Blue and will look to be the dominant ace with the departure of Cameron Weston. In 2022, he was named Big Ten Conference's Pitcher of the Week on March 23 after striking out 13 and allowing just one run over eight innings of work against Dayton on March 17.
Mitch Voit, Wisconsin's 2022 Gatorade Player of the year, is one of Michigan baseball's newest additions. As he begins his collegiate career with U-M, he comes off of an incredible high school career where he hit .581 across 93 at-bats and held a 0.45 earned-run average across 10 starts. Voit was ranked third for right-handed pitchers and ninth overall in Wisconsin.
