KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The University of Michigan women's swimming and diving finished day one of the NCAA Championships tied for 17th (six points) with Virginia Tech after a 14th-place showing in the 200-yard medley relay on Wednesday (March 15) at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center. Virginia leads the team standings with 80 points.
The quartet of Noelle Kaufmann, Letitia Sim, Natalie Kan and Lindsay Flynn kicked things off in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:36.24 to finish 14th and earn six points.
The Wolverines will return to the pool Thursday (March 16) to begin day two at the NCAA Championships. Prelims at the Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center start at 10 a.m., with finals action beginning at 6 p.m.
