WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The University of Michigan men's swimming and diving team picked up three NCAA 'B' cut times on the first day of Purdue's Boiler-Make-It Last Chance Meet at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.
Eduardo Moraes kicked things off for the Wolverines in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing first with a time of 4:17.91, earning the first NCAA 'B' cut of the day. In the 200-yard IM, Eitan Ben-Shitrit finished first with a time of 1:42.90 to earn a 'B' cut.
In the 100-yard breaststroke, Jack McCurdy finished second with a 'B' cut time of 53.74, and Juan Ceresa finished first in the 200-yard freestyle.
The Wolverines will return to the pool Sunday (March 5) for the second day of the Boiler-Make-It Last Chance Meet starting at 10 a.m. at the Morgan J. Burke Aquatic Center.
