
Wolverines Earn At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament, Matchup With Central Michigan

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The University of Michigan women's lacrosse team claimed the program's third NCAA Tournament bid and will travel to Evanston, Ill. for the first round as announced by the NCAA on Sunday (May 7).
U-M will take on Central Michigan on Friday (May 12) at 2 p.m. CDT in the first round and the winner will advance to the second round to face No. 1-ranked Northwestern on Sunday (May 14) at 11 a.m. CDT.
Michigan is making its third NCAA Tournament appearance, having hosted the first and second rounds in the 2019 season and earned a first-round victory over Notre Dame in 2022.
U-M posted an 11-7 overall record this season with wins over four ranked opponents, including two over Penn State
The Wolverines are joined fellow Big Ten schools in the field of 29: Johns Hopkins, Maryland, Northwestern and Penn State.
