
Preseason Honors: U-M Trio Earns Perfect Game All-Conference Honors

Perfect Game Preseason All-Conference (Jan. 18) -- Sophomore Mitch Voit and freshman Collin Priest both earned spots on the Preseason Team, while freshman Dylan Vigue was picked as the Preseason Freshman of the Year.
In Voit's first season with the team, he started 51 games at third base and pitched a total of 36 innings. This season, Voit will shift to first base where he was selected on the Perfect Game list. Voit batted .267 with seven home runs while adding a team-low 3.25 earned-run average and 25 strikeouts on the mound. He also was named a top 100 collegiate sophomore by Perfect Game this week.
Priest joins the Wolverines from Mount Dora, Fla., and was named to Perfect Game's utility spot. In his senior high school season, Priest hit .417 with 11 home runs and earned first team all-state. A hard hitting lefty, Priest was a three-time All-State selection and finished his career hitting .383 with 25 homers and 84 RBI.
Vigue was selected as the Freshman of the Year. A highly touted prospect, he earned many awards in high school including Perfect Game Preseason All-Region and Honorable Mention All-American. In his senior prep season, Vigue had 71 strikeouts in 38.1 innings pitched with a 1.46 ERA. » Perfect Game Release
