
Brooks Claims Five WCGA Regular-Season All-America Nods, Wilson All-American on Floor

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Graduate students Sierra Brooks and Gabby Wilson combined for six Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) regular-season All-America citations as announced Thursday (March 28).
Student-athletes with the top eight National Qualifying Scores (NQS) for the regular season (with ties) for each event plus the all-around earned All-America honors. Second-team All-America honors are earned by student-athletes ranked Nos. 9-16 (with ties) in the NQS.
Brooks, the three-time Big Ten Gymnast of the Year, is a five-time All-America honoree in the 2024 season -- bringing her career total to 15 regular-season All-America citations. The Plainfield, Ill., native, is a first-team honoree on the floor as she ties for seventh nationally and received second-team All-American nods in the all-around, ranking ninth nationally, on the vault and beam, ranking 13th nationally, and on the uneven bars, ranking 15th nationally.
Brooks recorded 31 scores of 9.900 or better in her final season and had one perfect 10.0 on the floor, while also scoring seven 9.975s. She also won 22 event titles, including the all-around title for five straight weeks, and breaking the U-M record with a 39.850 against Stanford.
Wilson earned her fourth career regular-season All-America citation as she was named to the first team on the floor. It is the second time in her career she earned the honor on floor as she was also a first-team honoree in the 2023 season. The Ypsilanti, Mich., native, was the Big Ten co-champion on the floor and ranks fourth nationally in the event. Wilson has won five floor titles this season and scored three perfect 10.0s to bring her career total to five perfect scores on the floor.Â
