COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The University of Michigan men's golf team posted a 304 team tally Saturday (April 27) and is tied for 12th with a 609 36-hole total at the Big Ten Championships at the Scioto Country Club. U-M will be paired with Indiana and Penn State for Sunday's (April 28) final round starting at 8:25 a.m.
Junior Hunter Thomson followed an opening 76 with U-M's second-round best 74, bringing his 36-hole total to 150 and tying for 27th, positioning him as the top Wolverine. Overall, the Maize and Blue have three among the top 50. Senior Jude Kim is tied for 39th at 152 (75-77), and redshirt-junior Ben Hoagland is tied for 44th at 153 (75-78).
Rounding out the Wolverines' championship squad, senior Will Anderson is tied for 54th (155) and junior Yuqi Liu is tied for 58th (156).
