
Brady Earns All-America Honors on Day One at NCAA Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team opened day one at the NCAA Outdoor Championships on Wednesday (June 5), with Tom Brady leading the team's effort at Hayward Field.
Brady ran 28:44.35 in the 10,000-meter run, finishing in 15th place. In addition, the result earned the Park Ridge, Ill., native a second team All-America honor -- the fourth of his career -- to cap his U-M career.
Nick Foster finished 24th in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 3:44.24 in his final race in the maize and blue.
In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Caleb Jarema finished 17th with a time of 8:41.95 in his first NCAA Championships appearance.
Jake Wall finished 23rd in the long jump with a mark of 7.09 meters (23 feet, 3.25 inches), also while making his first career NCAA appearance.
The Wolverines will close out the NCAA Championships, and the 2024 season, at Hayward Field on Friday (June 7) at 5:35 p.m. PDT with Zane Forist competing in the discus throw.
