
Wolverines Announce 10 Newcomers for 2024 Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan field hockey program announced Tuesday (July 2) the addition of 10 newcomers to the team's 2024 roster. It is the Wolverines' biggest freshman class since bringing in 11 in the fall of 2020.
The Wolverines' incoming freshmen include Sofia Abraham (San Diego, Calif.), Eva Bernardy (Utrecht, Netherlands), Aurora Gery (Allentown, Pa.), Maddie Grand (Ann Arbor, Mich.), Natalie Machiran (Ellicott, Md.), Zoe Martin (Denver, Colo.), Saylor Milone (Bryn Mawr, Pa.), Dru Moffett (Townsend, Del.), Anjolie Norton (Poway, Calif.) and Cami Wiseman (Ann Arbor, Mich.).
The heralded class features two forwards, four midfielders, three backs and one goalkeeper and represents six states and the Netherlands.
Seven players are ranked in Max Field Hockey's Class of 2024 rankings, including two in the nation's top 10, one was named the 2023 National Player of the Year (Milone) and two were named their state's player of the year. The group combined for three All-America, 12 all-region and 15 all-state honors over their prep careers and helped guide their high school teams to six state championships. Three have also represented the USA on the national U18 team.
