
Seven Wolverines Conclude Competition at 2024 World Rowing Under-23 Championships

ST. CATHERINE'S, Ontario -- The University of Michigan rowing program is represented by seven student-athletes at the 2024 World Rowing Under-23 Championships.
In the women's eight (8+), Michigan athletes will represent three countries. Zara Collisson and Katie Easton are competing for Australia; Jana Peachey and Madeleine Lauriault are competing for Canada; and Ansley Vicars is competing for Great Britain at the U19 level.
In the women's four (BW4-) and coxed four (BW4+), respectively, Madeson Scott and Autumn Crowe are representing Canada.

• BW4+ (women's coxed four): Madeson Scott rowed in stroke seat for Team Canada out of lane four, finishing in 7:25.99 in the final for fourth place (Aug. 23).
• BW4- (women's four): Autumn Crowe rowed in the third seat for Team Canada out of lane one, finishing sixth in the B Final with a time of 6:51.46 (Aug. 23).
• BW8+ (women's eight): Katie Easton rowed in stroke seat and Zara Collisson rowed in the seventh seat for Team Australia out of lane one in the 8+ final. The duo helped the Australian boat place fourth in 6:10.17 (Aug. 23).
• BW8+ (women's eight): Madeleine Lauriault rowed in the second seat and Jana Peachey rowed in the fifth seat for Team Canada out of lane five. The Canadians finished fourth in heats and fifth in the repechage (6:54.03; Aug. 20), missing out on the event final.
• BW8+ (women's eight), U19: Ansley Vicars rowed in the second seat for Team Great Britain out of lane three. The Brits won silver with a time of 6:45.20 (Aug. 25); the United States won gold and Italy won bronze.
