
Fall Softball Slate to Feature Three Home Dates, Doubleheader at CMU

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan softball team and head coach Bonnie Tholl announced the program's 2024 fall softball schedule on Tuesday (Aug. 27), featuring four dates, including three at the Wilpon Complex, home of Alumni Field at Carol Hutchins Stadium.
Michigan will host three regional foes, opening the fall ball slate with a contest against Toledo at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, before welcoming Detroit Mercy and Oakland for a noon/2:30 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Wolverines also will host Bowling Green at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11. Admission is free to all fall exhibition games.
The Wolverines also will travel to Mount Pleasant, Mich., for doubleheader at Central Michigan at noon on Sunday, Oct. 6.
The fall schedule provides U-M softball fans their first opportunity to see the 2025 Wolverine lineup, which will feature 17 returning letterwinners. Team 48 also welcomes a talented seven-member freshman class that feature four nationally ranked prospects as well as sophomore transfer Reganne Bennett.
The Wolverines graduated three seniors from last season, including All-Big Ten first teamer Keke Tholl, but return their three other 2024 first-team selections in senior pitcher Lauren Derkowski, sophomore third baseman Maddie Erickson and senior outfielder Ellie Sieler.
