Thomson Stays Among Top 20 After Second Day of OFCC/Illini Invitational

» After altering Saturday's play to 36 holes, Michigan improved in the second round with a 290 and closed with a 288 to tally an 878 total and finish 15th at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational from Olympia Fields Country Club.
» Attempting to thwart expected Sunday afternoon rain and storms, the 15-team field was unable to complete the final 36 holes as three teams will return Sunday morning to finish up to a pair of holes in the final round.
» After pacing the Wolverines in the opening round with a 68 (-2), Hunter Thomson followed with rounds of 71 (+1) and 75 and is among the top 35 (unofficially) as he is tied for 33rd (214, +4).
