» After opening with a 296 in the gray skies of the first round, Michigan followed with a 293 in the rainy second round to position itself fifth (589) after 36 holes of MSU's Mary Fossum Invitational at the Forest Akers West Course.
» Following her opening even-par 72, Mara Janess tied her career-low with a 71 (-1) in the second round and is tied for fifth (143, -1). Just behind Janess, Sydney Sung carded tallies of 73 (+1) and 71 (-1) to sit tied for ninth at even par 144, helping U-M have two among to the top 10.
» Playing as an individual, Lauren Sung used 26 pars to post a 149 (74-75) and is tied for 28th.
