ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team (5-7-2, 2-2-2 Big Ten) will look to get back to its winning ways against Indiana (4-4-5, 1-2-4 Big Ten) on Sunday (Oct. 12) at U-M Soccer Stadium. The crucial league matchup will start at noon and air live on the Big Ten Network.

• Michigan leads the all-time series, 18-7-4, but has not beaten the Hoosiers since 2017. Â
• Last time out, the Wolverines battled No. 18 Michigan State in a 1-0 defeat. U-M outshot the Spartans and limited the visitors to their lowest shot total all season, but Michigan was doomed by an early goal conceded in the second minute.
• With four matches to play in the regular season, Michigan ranks 10th in the Big Ten standings with eight league points. The Wolverines have three opponents left on the slate ranked below them in the table: Indiana (seven points), Maryland (six points) and Rutgers (four points).
• Two-time Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Week Sophie Homan has been on a tear in conference play, ranking sixth in save percentage (.824) and goals-against average (0.86). Her 28 total saves against Big Ten opponents are the eighth-most among conference goalkeepers.
• Second year forward Elle Ervin continues to pace the Michigan offense with team-highs in shots (31), shots on target (17) and points (12). She is the highest-scoring Michigan sophomore since Sammi Woods totaled 14 points with five goals in 2021.
• Indiana 4-4-5, 1-2-4 Big Tenhas not lost a match since a 2-0 defeat to Rutgers back on Sept. 21. The Hoosiers are 1-0-3 in their past four outings, led by sophomore midfielder Maggie Ledwith, who has poured in 10 points in 12 starts.Â
• Michigan will travel for a two-game East Coast road trip starting next Thursday (Oct. 16) at Maryland. The Wolverines will battle Rutgers on Oct. 19 before wrapping up the regular season at home against Illinois on Oct. 26.
