SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The No. 10-ranked University of Michigan men's swimming and diving program earned its first two wins of the 2025-26 season on Friday (Oct. 10), downing Notre Dame 183-117 and No. 22 Wisconsin 183-115 inside Rolfs Aquatic Center.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Tyler Ray, Luka Mladenovic, Colin Geer and Antoine Sauve got the meet off to a strong start by winning the race with a time of 1:27.40.
Lorne Wigginton kicked off the individual portion of the meet with a win in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:03.77.
Sauve grabbed his second victory of the meet, clocking a time of 1:36.37 in the 200 free. Mladenovic secured his first individual triumph of the afternoon in the 100-yard breaststroke, posting a mark of 52.91 seconds.
Geer came out on top in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1:45.32, while Ray logged the best time in the 50-yard freestyle at 19.80.
Eitan Ben-Shitrit put on a strong performance in the 200-yard backstroke, winning the event with a mark of 1:45.55, while Mladenovic grabbed his second individual win of the meet in the 200 breast with a time of 1:57.83.
Wigginton completed the sweep of the distance freestyle events, logging the fastest time in the 500-yard race at 4:25.66, while Ray outpaced the field in the 100 fly with a time of 46.54.
Geer closed out the individual events with a win in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:46.58 before the Wolverines won the 400-yard freestyle relay behind the efforts of Ryan Healy, Mladenovic, Sauve and Wigginton.
Next up, Michigan will return to Canham Natatorium to host Northwestern on Oct. 25 at noon.
