
Michigan to Host Wisconsin in Halloween Home Finale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The No. 12-ranked University of Michigan men's soccer team (10-2-3, 5-2-1 Big Ten) will close out the home half of its schedule, looking to put the finishing touches on a strong season at home. The Wolverines will match up against Wisconsin (6-7-0, 3-5-0 Big Ten) on Friday (Oct. 31) at U-M Soccer Stadium, with the match streamed live on B1G+.

• Michigan is coming off another undefeated week featuring a 2-1 win over Northwestern (Oct. 24) and a 4-0 victory over Detroit Mercy on Senior Night (Oct. 28). The Wolverines bring a four-game win streak into Friday's matchup against the Badgers.
• The Wolverines now sit at 10 victories on the season, their first time reaching that mark since the 2019 campaign. They sit in third place in the Big Ten with 16 points, putting them in strong position for the conference tournament in November.
• Mitar Mitrovic scored two penalty goals on the week, including the game-winner over the Wildcats on Friday, bringing his total to three goals on the season.
• Grayson Elmquist also tallied a goal in each of last week's contests, giving him the team lead with six goals in 2025. Elmquist now has four goals in his last four games.
• Isaiah Goldson had another strong week in net for the Maize and Blue, saving 10 shots while conceding just one goal and recording his seventh shutout of the season on Tuesday (Oct. 28).
• Three seniors and graduate students honored in Tuesday's ceremonies appeared on the score sheet, as Mitrovic and Nicholas Cassiday found the back of the net and Cassiday added an assist along with Raymundo Mendez.
• Will Baker scored his first career goal against the Titans after just missing one against Northwestern. The reliable center back found the back of the net in his 53rd career contest with the Wolverines.
• Michael Ramirez had two assists against Detroit Mercy, moving him to 15 points this season and tying him for the team lead with five helpers.
• Michigan holds an all-time record of 17-9-8 against Wisconsin, including a pair of 1-1 draws in their last two meetings.
• Up next, the Wolverines will travel to University Park, Pa., to close out the regular season against Penn State on Friday (Nov. 7).
