
Michigan to Host Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's tennis team will host the Wolverine Invitational this weekend (Oct. 10-12) at the Varsity Tennis Center, the lone fall event at home for U-M. Admission to the event is free, with action taking place on the 12 outdoor courts.
Joining U-M at the Varsity Tennis Center for the event will be Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Miami and Northwestern.
Action will begin on Friday (Oct. 10), with 12 singles matches taking place at 11 a.m. Doubles matches will commence at 2 p.m., with another round of five singles matches beginning at 3 p.m.
Play will start at 10 a.m. on both Saturday (Oct. 11) and Sunday (Oct. 12).
U-M is coming off the first Final Four appearance in program history last season and brings back five of its regular singles players in Lily Jones, Piper Charney, Reese Miller, Emily Sartz-Lunde and Jessica Bernales. Charney has already punched her ticket to the 2025 NCAA Singles Championship later this fall.
