
Divers Gammage, Milligan Earn NCAA Berths on Day One of Zones

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The University of Michigan men's and women's diving teams opened competition on Monday (March 10) at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
On the men's side, Cameron Gammage shined for the Maize and Blue on the one-meter springboard. The senior posted a 12-dive score of 644.25 to finish 10th overall and earn one of 10 berths to the NCAA Championships. Freshman Julian Cardenas advanced to the final and logged a total score of 631.05 to take 13th overall. Logan Hepner finished 22nd while Grayson Davis rounded out the Wolverines in 35th.
Kiarra Milligan led the way for the women's team on the three-meter board, earning NCAA qualification with a total score of 578.65. Milligan garnered All-America honors in the three-meter dive in 2024. Chrismon Clark took 26th with a tally of 258.00, and Evie Johnson logged a score of 245.45 to finish 31st. Alex Mercier landed in 38th with a score of 230.50.
Michigan will be in action on Tuesday (March 11) for the second day of the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The men will compete on the three-meter springboard while the women will switch to the one-meter board. Preliminaries will get underway at 1 p.m.
