Michigan Athletics Announces 2025-26 Men's Basketball Season Ticket Pricing

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan Athletic Department announced today (Thursday, April 24) the season ticket and Preferred Seat Contribution (PSC) pricing for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. U-M is modernizing its pricing tiers for the first time since Crisler Center's renovation in 2012, with the average combined season ticket and PSC price increasing by 9.6 percent.
The implementation of these changes will help Michigan Athletics continue to provide essential resources needed for the continued success of our men's basketball program as we enter a new era of college athletics. As determined by the class action lawsuits collectively referred to as House vs. NCAA, Michigan Athletics is anticipating an annual revenue-sharing payment of $20.5 million that will go directly to the student-athletes starting with the 2025-26 academic year. Additionally, there will be a $5.9 million increase for new scholarships, including increasing the number of scholarships available for men's basketball from 13 to 15. Michigan Athletics has always been a self-sustaining unit of the university, and it will take an elevated commitment from everyone to cover these new expenses while maintaining a high level of support for our teams.
Similar to what has been implemented for seating at Michigan Stadium, U-M will move from 11 pricing tiers to 19 to better align with the secondary market value. Included in that is the expansion of the upper-level PSC tier. After extensive analysis of secondary market pricing, it was determined that Michigan's season ticket and PSC pricing were undervalued. Last year alone, the average resale of season tickets on the secondary market was 85 percent higher than face value. By adjusting the pricing structure, Michigan will be more in line with secondary market pricing while still providing value to season ticket holders.
Season ticket renewals begin Thursday, May 1. Those interested in purchasing new season tickets can join the Season Ticket Interest List to be notified if inventory becomes available after the season ticket renewal period.
