Wolverines, Big Ten Release Opponent Breakdowns for 2025-26

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- In conjunction with the Big Ten Conference, the University of Michigan unveiled Tuesday (April 29) the home and road matchups for the 2025-26 men's basketball season.
With 18 teams, the Big Ten schedule features three double-play opponents and single games against the remaining 14 conference schools, creating a 20-game regular-season slate.
In keeping rivalries together, Michigan has home-and-home series with Michigan State and Ohio State. U-M's third double-play will be with Penn State.
In addition to the trio of games with the Spartans, the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions, U-M will welcome Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers, UCLA, USC and Wisconsin to Ann Arbor. Officially joining the conference last season, the Bruins will return to Crisler Center for the first time since 2017, while USC makes its second appearance in Ann Arbor and the first time since 1947.
U-M's road slate is highlighted with a West Coast trip to Oregon and Washington. Michigan last played in Eugene two seasons ago, falling in a dramatic 86-83 overtime thriller. The Wolverines return to Seattle for the first time in 32 years when U-M took part in Washington's U.S. West Cellular Air Time Tournament.
In Dusty May's first season in Ann Arbor, he led the Wolverines to a 27-10 record, a runner-up Big Ten regular-season finish (14-6) and as the No. 3 seed, won three games in three days to claim the program's fourth Big Ten Tournament title. Setting the program marks for a first-year U-M coach in wins (27) and Big Ten wins (14), May has helped the Wolverines to a 19-game improvement after finishing 8-24 in 2023-24.
The Maize and Blue returned to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years (2022). Following wins over UC San Diego and Texas A&M, May's Wolverines reached the Sweet 16 in their sixth straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
Season ticket renewals begin Thursday, May 1. Those interested in purchasing new season tickets can join the season ticket interest list to be notified if inventory becomes available after the season ticket renewal period.
